Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo
Loosely based on the iconic film Vertigo by the legendary director Alfred Hitchcock, this 2022 psychological thriller mystery game was developed by Pendulo Studios. Along with PC, it was also released for Xbox, Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and Nintendo in 2021 and 2022. The game tells the story of Ed Miller, a writer whose life is changed by a car wreck. What’s interesting is that he claims that he lost his daughter and girlfriend in the crash, whom no one has seen or heard about. What’s even more bizarre is that the accident takes place exactly the same way he had lost his parents in an accident more than 20 years ago. Despite average graphics and poor facial expressions, the story is arguably one of the best among detective/mystery games. As each chapter passes, more twists and turns are revealed, and the game keeps you guessing till the end!
