Nagaon might be a small town in Assam, India, but it boasts a large number of bikers. However, with the increase in motorcycle brands and models, it becomes quite hard for one to choose what bike to buy. Now, about Nagaon! It is located in the middle of Assam and comprises both urban and rural areas, with a mixture of great highways and muddy patches of roads in the interior areas. To be able to ride in both of these conditions, one has to choose the perfect motorcycle that can handle everything. Based on a survey of different bikers and some personal research, we have listed out five motorcycles below 200 cc that will be best to ride in the urban-rural streets of Nagaon, Assam.
Here is the list:
1. Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTS-i
Since Nagaon is a small town, it demands a smaller bike with awesome capabilities. While 180 cc is not really small when it comes to India, as compared with other motorcycles in the market now, it is actually small. The Pulsar 180 delivers everything one needs. Agility, mileage, power, and reliability! Not to mention, it is among the most popular motorcycles in India.
Horizon Score: 4.7/5
2. Hero Xpulse
For the people living on the outskirts of the town, the Xpulse is a perfect match. It can handle bad roads and highways both with ease. Although, the rider needs to be a bit taller. The Xpulse is also good with mileage and it is the successor of the legendary Impulse.
Horizon Score: 4.5/5
3. Yamaha FZ-16
The FZ 150 cc series is among the most popular Indian bikes. One of the safest and friendliest pocket bikes in India is a Yamaha-made model. With its monoshock suspension coupled with a 140/60 tyre, the FZ can take on any road you throw it. The FZ is quite stable on curves and straight roads. However, it does not live up to the top speed expectations, and it only touches 110 kmph.
Horizon Score: 4.2/5
4. Bajaj Pulsar NS200
Although the Pulsar NS200 deserves to be at the top, we had to rank it fourth due to its price and recent upgrades. While the bike at its launch in 2012 was a deal-breaker and a revolution in terms of the Pulsar line-up, with the recent upgrades and the fact that it is still not getting a better upgrade for the price it is marked at, the bike has lost its charm. However, to be driven in traffic, on bad roads, on highways, and at top speed with a pretty cool mileage, the bike deserves to be mentioned.
Horizon Score: 3.9/5
5. Kawasaki W175
This motorcycle will be one of the most uncommon machines on the road, but it definitely has road presence and great features. For people who want something retro with a more modern and reliable engine, the W175 is for them. Since Kawasaki built the machine, it has a good engine and good specs. However, it has somewhat limited features and is priced above Rs 1.5 lakh. This makes it quite unpopular on the road. But those who have ridden the machine have told tales that this is one of a kind.
Horizon Score: 3.5/5
