So Pizza! Everyone loves the word and the thing. It is one of the most amazing creations ever. It comes in a square box, is round, and when you have to eat it, it turns out to be a triangle. So much is just one little word. But there is always one issue with pizza, and that is, where do you order from? Pizza Hut or Dominoes? Or some fancy Italian restaurant? And if you are in Guwahati, this question goes a notch higher, as there are many yet not too many options. So to help you with the dilemma of “where to get the pizza”, we have listed out five of the best places in the city.
1. La Pino’z Pizza
Located in Rukminigaon and Rehabari, this is at the top because of the taste, price, and options. Their range of classic pizzas starts at Rs. 59, and if you want to eat something else with the pizza, then their mac & cheese is also an awesome option. Overall, La Pino’z is a great alternative if you love pizza. However, the staff, although polite, are still yet to be more efficient on the customer service side.

2. Laziz Pizza
Another great place that offers a wide yet different variety of pizzas, Laziz Pizza is located across the city, but the most easily accessible one is in Bhangagarh. They have several options to choose from, but the best one is the mushroom pizza, which comes in four sizes: personal, medium, large, and extra large. Apart from this, they have a special cheese burst pizza that will give tough competition to any possible pizza outlet in the region.

3. Red Pizza
It was probably one of the most popular pizza joints for some, and this one was the Star Pizza Joint in Food Villa, where 90s and 00s kids used to hang out together before the internet was slow and expensive in Guwahati. Red Pizza serves only two sizes: half and full. The half is also something that a normal person would call full. However, with the rise of new food joints in Guwahati, Red Pizza somewhere lost popularity, but they kept on with the taste. The best pizza to try from Red Pizza is the massive Barbeque Bang Pizza.

4. Chicago Pizza
While pizza is Italian by origin, the best pizza is said to be found in Chicago, IL, USA. Similarly, one of the best pizzas in Guwahati comes out of the ovens of Chicago Pizza. They have at least 20 categories and a multitude of options for pizza on the menu. However, the best is the Hawaiian Cheese Blast Pizza. But this is controversial, as this one has the controversial pineapple on it.

5. Bakes N Fries
This restaurant is not really a dedicated pizza joint, but the 11 pizza options are simply “marvellous”. Located on Hatigaon Road, this used to be a food truck. They were more popular for their Mughlai paratha and sandwiches, but they recently added a choice of special pizza. The flat margherita pizza for just 100 bucks is a bang for the money. The cheese can be felt with each bite. With the pizza, you can get a fruit beer and a side of sandwiches. The entire meal would cost Rs 250, and you would definitely not be able to stand the tummy being filled with this tasty treat. However, getting a place to park is a gamble.
